June

So you would think with all this extra time on my hands I would be better at updating my blog. I guess since I am not sitting around bored silly like I was at work it doesn't cross my mind as often.

With that being said we had a big, awesome month of June. Our highlight of the month: The Outerbanx of North Carolina. We headed out June 16th for a 2 night, 3 day adventure in an RV to get us to our destination- Corolla, NC. The RV ride was an interesting one; the trip there was definitely easier than the one coming home. Our house in NC was AMAZING!! 3 stories, 7 bedrooms, private pool and hot tub, and only about a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach. It was a very nice, family oriented place and we had such a blast. We saw family we don't see often enough and just about every night we all got together to play Mexican Train dominoes, which of course I "dominated" at. Get it? Not funny? Anyways, I am lying I only won once and came in last or close to last the other nights. Whatever. Anyways, the days were spent either at the pool, beach or hitting up the local shops and restaurants. Overall, I could not have asked for a better first vacation for my little man and hope there are many many more to come. A few pics:

Father's day fell on the second day we were there, but we celebrated before we left so Jarshua could utilize some of his presents (a book) on our journey in the RV. I would like to say thank you to Jarshua for being such a great dad and role model to Dayton. We are so lucky to have you! I would also like to give a shout out to my dad, I know you are watching over us at all times.. I love you, I miss you, and there is not one single day that goes by that I don't think about you.

We arrived back in Tomball on the 27th which just so happens to be a very special day- My Birthday!! After showering and getting cleaned up we met my in-laws for dinner at Shogun to celebrate my last year in my twenties. Yikes!!
